The map has a memory
It is not a cold route log: it is the memory of where you have been together. You can read it from a distance, with no legend at all.

You walked with your watch, or another app
If your walk ended up in Health, from an Apple Watch, Strava or Garmin, Lume picks it up and paints the map all the same. Every area counts.

Lume notices you have been still for a while, asks, and if you do not answer it closes the walk where it really ended. Every walk lasts as long as it lasted.

How far, where, what you discovered, and whether it was one of your best days. It says so right there, with the date.

From one to ten people
Everyone who hits their own goal lights their log, and you decide how many are needed each night. Someone walking four thousand steps to their target contributes exactly what a marathon runner does: what counts here is showing up.

Their log flickers while they walk, and their walk appears drawn on your map. Just enough to say “me too, today”.

Fan the log of whoever made it
One gesture and it lands in their pocket: “Nerea fanned your log”. One fan a day, and that is it.

No threads, no channels and nobody you don’t know. Your group’s, and that is it.

It is what actually gets the others out the door: seeing where someone went this afternoon is more convincing than any reminder.

And the album is never wiped
Every walk with a photo adds one more. They do not expire, they are never charged for and there is no plan that unlocks them: that is what makes a year inside worth it.
A photo taken on a walk carries the exact spot inside it, accurate to the metre. Lume strips that out before uploading: the group gets the photo, never the point on the map.
All your walks, month by month, with their photos and their steps. The archive belongs to whoever went out walking.
Every month, the fire gets tested
On the 1st, a new month starts on top of the previous month's ash. And the month that ends is kept forever, with its shape and its numbers.
The three rules, in full
While you sleep, your map stays exactly as you left it. Coming back is up to you and your people.
Steps are the only currency. Everything inside opens by walking.
The map works with no account and no campfire. But Lume is built to be done with people.
Your routes are yours
Your campfire sees where you have been, trimmed: the first and last few hundred metres of every walk never leave your phone. And any walk can be left out with a switch.
Lume has no ads and no third-party trackers, and your data is not for sale.
